Frequently Asked Questions:
As a UMA online student, you receive necessary textbooks and other materials for your online healthcare course(s) prior to the start of your first class. You can expect your textbooks to arrive approximately one to two weeks after your enrollment application is processed.
Please note that your financial paperwork must be completed before your book order is processed. Also, make sure that your admissions advisor has your current mailing address and primary email address to ensure that you receive course materials and other important communications in a timely manner.
UMA offers ongoing admissions and enrollment, so students can begin their online healthcare classes shortly after being accepted into the program. Unlike some healthcare schools that only permit new students to begin classes in the Fall or Spring semester, UMA allows students in its online healthcare programs to begin classes in any month throughout the year.
Typically, there is a course start every two weeks, so you won’t have to wait long to get your healthcare education underway. Contact your admissions advisor to confirm your exact start date or view your enrollment agreement.
